If you are disabled, there may be physical barriers that make it difficult for you to carry out ordinary day to day activities. An adaptation to your home will enable you to move around your home and access and use its facilties more easily. An adaptation will also make it easier for your carers to look after you. Typical adaptations include:
- Stairlifts and through floor lifts
- Ramps, rails and step lifts
- Door widening for wheelechair access
- Adapting kitchens by providing low level units
- Level access showers and other bathroom alterations
- Improving heating

There are different adaptations available to you in the property, including both interior and exterior changes.
To help you get into your home easier we can add door ramps, step lifts, car parking adaptations or locking intercom on the doors.
On the interior of the property we can widen the door frames to help wheelchairs go through easier and kickplates on the door to stop damage occurring from hitting into in a wheel chair.
Stairlifts, through-floor lists and track hoists can be used to help you get onto separate floors and rooms.
Within the bathroom you can have the toilet and shower adapted to your requirements.
